Patriotism

I recently read a right-wing opinion article on flag burning. The author clearly implied that the people who burn flags also don't appreciate those fighting in Iraq, therefore they don't love our country.

Well yeah, I could see how the author came up with that solution. Burning American flag=don't love America.

Still, I don't see why it's wrong. I'm sick of political arguments. Can't everyone just leave everyone else alone? Shouldn't I be able to disagree with the government without being called unpatriotic?

This is like school: name calling, in your face, your mom, etc. It makes me weary. I'm going back into the Grand Canyon where I can't be contacted.
